2019 WESTERN AUSTRALIAN
LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTIONS

Following the close of nominations for vacancies for the 19 October, 2019 Local Government Elections, the Shire of Laverton had five candidates for the five vacancies on Council (one two-year vacancy and four four-year vacancies), therefore all candidates have been elected unopposed.

Councillors for the remaining two years of the current term and the new four year term will be as follows.  The new Councillors will be sworn into office at the October Ordinary Meeting of Council at 5:00pm on Thursday 24 October 2019.  Members of the public are welcome to attend.
