Historic Police Complex
The Historic Police Complex consists of a number of buildings which include the Gaol, Police Station and former Sergeant’s quarters. This historic precinct represents an early 20th century way of policing and living. The precinct has a close association with the development of the law and law enforcement in Western Australia.
The Gaol clearly demonstrates the way of maintaining law and order that developed during the early 1900’s. The conditions of life in a gaol of that period are still obvious today.
The Historic Police Complex is located at 14 Erlistoun Street and entry is by gold coin donation.
